Durolane is not a covered benefit under any provincial health care plan in Canada.
It is however covered by most third party insurance companies' extended health care benefit.
Back to the top - Do you have any advice for me to follow after receiving treatment?
- Follow your doctor’s advice immediately after treatment
- Pain and/or swelling/stiffness of mild to moderate intensity during the first week following the injection can be anticipated
- Avoid strenuous activity (e.g. tennis, jogging or long walks) the first two days after the injection
- Learn how to exercise correctly — follow the advice of your doctor, physiotherapist or healthcare provider
